The following hunts are set up with full room/board/horse fully equipped - Utilizing both horses and 4 wheel drive.
Lodging consists of modern lodges or cabins or small camp trailers for complete privacy for couples or individuals. All hunts are set up as 1/2 day moving in to camp, 1/2 day moving out of camp with the remainder spent in the field. Montana offers guaranteed licenses. The general license includes elk, deer (mule or whitetail), birds and fishing for $1,500. Elk, bird and fishing: $1,400 Deer, bird, fishing: $1,100 Bear: (We will not offer grizzly in 2007): $350 Deer "B": $75 Whitetail Doe Tag: $50 All hunts are set up as 1 guide per 4 clients. All of the above listed licenses priced in the lottery system: The general license includes elk, deer (mule or whitetail), birds and fishing for $643. Elk, bird and fishing: $593 Deer, bird, fishing: $343 Our guide fees remain the same if you take the guaranteed license or draw on the lottery system. Big Game Season Dates: General Season - Elk, Deer, Bird, Fish: October 25 - November 29, 2009 Archery Season: September 6 - October 18, 2009 We will not offer hunts for grizzly or sheep in 2009. In 2009 Big Sky Guide & Outfitters offers a "Package Hunt" that includes a guaranteed license and includes elk, deer, mule or whitetail, bird hunting and trout fishing. The 5 day Package Hunt is: (guaranteed license hunt) Total with license included: $3,475 for Rifle Total with license included: $3,375 for Archery If you prefer to secure your own license through the lottery drawing the same low guide fees apply: You must secure and purchase license: $1,975 Rifle You must secure and purchase license: $ 1,475 Archery We also offer a 4 day Hunt for deer, bird and fishing at $2,800 with guaranteed license. You may also add antelope to the above hunts for a trespass fee of $250. Antelope tag (drawing only) $200. Extra guided days are $400/day. We also offer several options for Brochure Hunts (you buy the license): #1. #3,500 for a 10 day hunt includes elk, deer (mule or whitetail), bear (brown, black or cinnamon), birds and trout fishing. $1,800 deposit required to book a date. #2. $2,600 for a 7 day hunt includes elk, deer (mule or whitetail), bear, birds and trout fishing. $1,500 to book a date. #3. $2,600 for a 7 day hunt including elk, deer (mule or whitetail), bear, antelope, birds and trout fishing. $1,500 to book a date. #4. $1,800 for a 5 day hunt including elk, deer (mule or whitetail), bear, birds and trout fishing. $900 deposit per person to book a date. Trophy Mule Deer Hunts: $400/day with a 4 day minimum. $500 deposit to book a date. October 29 - November 23, 2008. Rifle only. Trophy Mule Deer/Antelope Combination Hunt: $450/day plus a $250 Trespass Fee. $700 depoit required to book a date. October 19 - November 9, 2008. Rifle only. All hunts are set up as 1/2 day moving into camp, 1/2 day leaving camp with the balance of your hunt out in the field. Add as many days as you'd like to your hunt: Extra Days MUST be set up when you book your hunt! $400/Day Rifle $300/Day Archery We require a $1000 deposit per person to secure booking. This deposit is non-refundable, however, it may be applied to the following year on a similar hunt by the person making the deposit. (If you do not draw a license your deposit will be refunded) Personal checks (please make checks payable to Tom Brogan - NOT Big Sky, Inc.) are accepted for the deposit, cash, cashier's checks or travelers checks ONLY for the balance when you arrive in Montana for your hunt. The license deadline is March 15, 2007. You must send a Cashier's Check made out to the Montana Game Department, without exception by March 1st, 2007 for your license fee. We utilize cots or bunks for sleeping. Lodging consists of modern cabins, lodges, or small camp trailers for privacy. The camp trailers are not modern, do not have toilet facilities and are located close to the main lodge. The main lodge is open 24 hours a day. Food is served family style or buffet and all lunches are provided. We use horses and 4 wheel drive vehicles, working from the same base camp each morning. Most clients utilize both methods during their hunt. There are no hidden fees or trophy fees. We do have a very modern game processing plant where your game is cut, frozen and boxed to your specs when your hunt is over. We also hold a taxidermy license. There is a nominal fee for processing game, caping heads, etc. Please feel free to contact us for more information!
