Orange Vest, 400 square inches 2 pair of water resistent hiking boots Several pair of socks Two complete changes of clothing Rain gear that may be worn while riding horses Good quality sleeping bag Air matress Small canteen Surveyors ribbon for marking kills Small pocket compass Coil of 1/2 inch nylon rope (25 feetz0 Water proof match container Hunting knife with sheaf or folding pocket Small flashlight Small binoculars Overnight survival package (candy, jerky, tea or coffee, asprin, space blanket, chap stick) Small first aid kit (iodine, band-aids) Fire starters, small pencil and pad Gun cleaning kit, sharpening stone Foot powder and any prescribed medication Beverages, including any for relaxing in the evenings (we do not allow alcohol in the field) Small day pack (not large back pack) We require each client to bring their own small "talk'about" 2-way radio. Most utilize 3 AAA batteries and cost b/t $25-$30. Your guide will also have his own radio so you are in contact at all times. |
